Description
A fabulous rose variety that produces large, beautiful flowers with a very unique and varied appearance.

Most of the flowers are fully double, while some can also be so lovely half-full.

Bicolour means two-colored and just as the name of the variety reveals, the variety goes in magical tones of pink and white.

The variety produces abundant flowers, has sturdy stems that are easy to branch.

It is beautiful as a cut flower, but also incredibly stunning in beds and pots. This is our customer service manager Ulrica Cederlind's favorite flower.

Every year she grows Double Click Bicolour together with Cupcake Blush.

It's a hard-to-beat combination that will make any passer-by's jaw drop!

Care and cultivation advice

Propagate indoors in seed soil in March-April, preferably cover the seed with a transparent cover with air holes. Once the seeds have germinated, the seedlings should be stored in a cool, bright place for best results. In order for the cosmos to have many fabulous flowers, the plants need to be topped. This is done to stimulate the plant to produce more side shoots, which means more buds and flowers. A tip from us is to top/cut it just at the second or third pair of leaves.

The plants are planted out when they have hardened off properly and the risk of frost is over. Choose a sunny position, as this is when it flowers most, but the variety can also grow in partial shade. Rosebay thrives best in rich, sandy soil without too much nutrients. If it gets too much nutrition, it develops a lot of foliage but unfortunately very few flowers. Can also be sown in the fall for flowering next year. Sow directly in the soil before the frost comes. (The variety can also be sown directly on the site when the soil has warmed up and can be cultivated but will then have a slightly later flowering).
